Univesta is very proud to announce the recent acquisition of Bard Assurances, an insurance and financial services firm with deep roots in Pohénégamook, in the beautiful Témiscouata region.
Under the leadership of Jean-Pierre Bard, Gisèle Bard and Danielle Bard, this family brokerage firm has a long-standing reputation in the Lower St. Lawrence region and in the industry, for its professionalism and excellence in personal and business insurance services. Throughout their 75 years in the damage insurance business, the Bards have set themselves apart thanks to their in-depth knowledge and caring customer service.
The Bard Assurances book of insurance will be transferred over the course of the year, with the firm’s two lines of business (personal and commercial) being integrated with those of Univesta Insurance. While Jean-Pierre Bard will be ending his career in insurance with a richly-deserved sense of accomplishment, Gisèle and Danielle Bard are now part of the new team at the Univesta brokerage in Pohénégamook. We are very happy to welcome them to our team and we feel fortunate that they will be there with us to continue serving area residents.
By continuing its growth through the acquisition of Bard Assurances, Univesta increases its market share in Pohénégamook and Ville-Dégelis while strengthening its presence in Témiscouata as a whole.
